MY RELAXATION TECHNIQUE

Hi guys, today I would like to share with you my relaxation technique, it is called Warm Bath.  Like any normal human being, I use this technique whenever I physically and mentally get tired . Being a mother to three girls, a wife,  a self employed mom, and a  part time blogger I have so much to do;  caring for my children, house work, making a follow up on my little projects, etc. It is undisputed fact that body resting and relaxation is vital for our well being.  Being aware and practicing  of resting and relaxation techniques for the body  is a plus to achieve a stressless and happy life. I will share with you other techniques next time. For now let's talk about a warm bath.

Here is what I usually do for warm bath resting and relaxation technique. I fill the tub with warm water, then I put the scented roses, light the candles  and  always play the soft music to refresh my mind. Then I soak myself  in the tube and try to breath in and out slowly, concentrating on the music that plays at the moment , smelling the roses, enjoying my drink, and thinking about wonderful events in my life. I stay in the water for about twenty minutes, after that I put on lounge wear and slippers then I get seated on the  sofa and sleep for a while.

This technique works for me perfectly, not only it reduces fatigue but also helps me restore the energy lost due to busy day and improve my sleep, without using any thing which is not helpful and addictive like drugs and alcohol.  There are many techniques for relaxation you can google and read them, then choose one which will suit you. I'm sure it will be helpful for your relaxation for both body and mind,  Even your soul and improve your health.

I wish you wonderful preparations for the new year.

A CHRISTMAS POST

Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. Yes christmas is over and I like to share with you few things, I celebrated christmas with the people who truly matters to me, my family. I did make it simple it's was about food, family and fun. We celebrated at home, we eat, exchanges gifts and we watched christmas tv programs.

For the holiday spirit we had few decorations, I selected an artificial christmas tree  and christmas ornaments of  three color( red, pink, silver). I put tiny christmas lights on the branches and also put a star at the top. In short on his post you will find pictures for christmas enjoyment.

Yes christmas is over, I think it's time to appreciate what we had on christmas and plan how to celebrate the new year.

I wish you a happy new year 2014.

WHAT IS LOVE?

Was the most searched phrase on google in 2012. Why people are looking for, answers, meaning and definition about love?

I believe , if  you ask  many people , with different ( colour, age, professional, religion, etc), this question , what is love?  You Will not be able ,to get   a single or a perfect definition about love, but a lot of definitions, meanings,  stories etc, concerning love.

"Understanding love is one of the hardest things in the world" Fred Rogers.

I agree with him. That's  why, i  won't waste my time, trying finding the definition of love. The most important thing i care is, TO LOVE AND BE LOVED. Because;

  • If  you  understand, what is love all about. And you aren't in love, it's  nothing.
  • If you love somebody, and s/he doesn't loves you back, it's pain.
  • If someone loves you, and you don't love that person,it's sad.
  • If you love and be loved in return, is love.

What do you think? I'm inviting your ideas and opinions, etc.

I ENJOY READING BOOKS

I start reading books at a very young age,I remember I used t like very much  biblical stories  for kids such as, Noah and the Great Flood, A Favorite  Son.
Becomes a Slave, David The Sherpherd Boy etc. I grew up without the distraction from television and internet, so in my teen years fiction books were my favorite because I was reading for fun and entertainment. Since I have become an adult I read many non fiction books on wide range of topics such as  motivation, business, social psychology, leadership e.t.c

I enjoy reading books, I try to read almost everyday and when I read I turn  off  computer and tv. Books have many benefits to me, I can get information on particular subject of my interest through books. Some books have got stories that are very amusing and therefore reduce stress, By reading books I can get new ideas, knowledge to apply in my life and understand things from other people's views and it also sets me free from boredom.

I like to encourage you to read books, Many people believe that they don't have time to read the books,  but there is always a time. Instead of spending too much time trawling the internet and sitting on the sofa watching tv, you can use that time to read books, you can read during traffic jams, when you are eating, on bed before you fall asleep. You can read the books every time you get an opportunity to do so. It's good to educate yourself through books, gain knowledge, wisdom in a much lesser time and expand your views about life. Being a mother in my family which means more or less a leader, I'm compelled to read books everyday like they say "A leader must be a reader"

THINK LIKE A CHAMPION BY DONALD TRUMP

For what is the best choice, for each individual,
is the highest it is possible for him to achieve.
                                                            -ARISTOTLE

Champions are born and champions are made. One definition of a champion is someone who shows marked superiority. Another definition is someone who is a winner of first prize or first place in competition. We've all heard of Olympic champion champions, and we've probably all see their amazing ability is the amount of training they have endured, the sacrifices they've made, and the courage they've had to have to get where they are. Those are some of the attributes of a champion.

They also wanted to achieve something special. Ordinary wouldn't be enough for someone who has  the mindset of a champion. Champions think big. Champions work in a big-time way. Champions are focused. Champions are disciplined. Come to think of it, champions think like champions. As Jack Dempsey said, "A champion is someone who gets up when he can't." Let's hope that applies to you.

When  I'm having an especially tough day, I often think it's like a race and  I 'd better have the endurance to get through it. Somehow the endurance will surface, because I don't want to wind up feeling beaten. Billie Jean King said, "Champions take responsibility. When the ball coming over the net, you can be sure I want the ball." I understand what she was talking about, because I'm the same way in the respect.

I  have a box at the U.S Open every year because I love to watch those champions go at it. You can learn a lot from watching the experts, whether you're interested in sports, the arts, or whatever. One thing they have in common is the same mind set: They want to win, they want to be the best. Not the runner up, but the best. that's a very important thing to consider. I've seen very talented people fail because deep down  I think they were afraid of winning. Winning comes with a responsibility. Champions rise to that responsibility. Search yourself carefully to make sure you're ready and capable. If you're not, do something about it. It's an important element of success.

Most of you know that I'm a golfer. I've always said that golf is a brain game, which it is, but it is a demanding sport technically and is a game of finesse. You cannot play golf halfhearted  and expect to get anywhere with your  game. You have to concentrate  and you have to have patience. As the legendary golfer Bobby Jones said, "It is nothing new or original today that golf is played one stroke at a time. But it took me many years to realize it." We win in our daily lives by being careful  with every day, by having a champion's view of each moment.

Let's take a look at Aristotle's quote at the begging of this essay. That is self-scrutiny at its highest. It really is the best choice to go for the highest achievement possible. Why set goals too low? Did you ever hear a child saying they want to be nothing when they grow up? They are full of dreams and plans, and rarely are they mediocre aspirations. They want to be presidents, doctors, astronauts, scientists so on. They're on the right track and have the right mindset. If you need  to, bring yourself  back to when you had high achievement as a goal. Not everyone can be the world champion at something, but you can strive to be the best you can be. Thea's the first step-and a daily responsibility.

Champions go extra mile. We all know when we've done just enough and when we've really exerted ourselves. Make an effort to exert yourself - everyday. Don't  fail because you never allowed yourself  to get started! Don't  avoid success because you think the responsibility might too much-just focus  and get going! You'd be surprised at what intelligent effort can produce. Alexander Graham Bell said something that I always  remember: "Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus." Pay attention to these things and you will be on your way to thinking like a champion- and becoming one.

DON'T QUIT

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Toxic Friends

"It’s easy to assume everyone you meet will have your best interests at heart, but some people are only out for themselves. Getting ensnared in a friendship with someone who doesn’t really care about you can be tough, but staying in the relationship can be even tougher. Sometimes you just need to cut ties and move on." Jessica Padykula.

A toxic friend is a friend that makes you fell bad most of the time, is a friend who brings you nothing but grief, disruption, pain, abuse and trouble.  The following are some of the signs which can tell you if your friend is toxic;

  • S/he take and you give always
  • A friend that embarrasses you in social situation in order to get attention
  • A person that constantly betrays your trust
  • Rumors started by friend  (confirmed by others) have reached your ear
  • It's seems that your friend only needs you when s/he has problems
  • S/he don't love and respect people who are important in your life
  • You are always there for them, but when you need them they are not there for you
So we need to choose people we hung around with well, if you realize that your friend is toxic  it's better to tell the truth that his behaviour is not acceptable anymore because it makes you sick, and you are willing to continue tha friendship if s/he is ready to change.

Spend time with people who bring happiness and if a toxic friend is not making any effort to stop his behaviour, it's better to quit that friendship and move on, it's stupid continuing at the expense of your happiness.

Bible Verses About Love

Quotes about Love - Read verses that provide guidance on topics relating to love, such as relationships, marriage, family, children, strength, and love of others. Read scripture from the Holy Bible about love in relation to God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian faith.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Mark 12:31

The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Luke 6:35

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

1 Corinthians 13:13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Ephesians 5:33

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Ephesians 5:25

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

1 John 4:7

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:8

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
